Turning the lens inward, and letting others look.
I’ve had this on my page for years, how could I cut it, even if I find myself asking other questions more deeply now:
‘Not to be driven this way and that, but always to behave with justice and see things as they are’ – Marcus Aurelius.
What I think about most directly now, is, paraphrasing Dostoyevsky, ‘your greatest sin is betraying and destroying yourself’. Which, depending on how you hold your head, does boil down to behaving with justice and seeing clearly.
